Another suggestion that I think should be mandatory is when someone invites someone else to the guild, new members that is, they should immediately on the public message list the date they invited the person so that the invited person can be promoted in a timely fashion.

well i agree it would help but it wasn't working out...so i've been doing promos once a week instead so that no one has to wait at tester for longer than a week
